Ciarra Fabian Obituary, TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Ciarra Fabian, 24, of Paris, Illinois, has died following injuries sustained in a fatal motorcycle crash on U.S. 63 in Terre Haute last week, based on to the Vigo County Coroner’s Office.
Terre Haute police officers responded at approximately 9:50 p.m. Thursday, August 7, to the area of U.S. 63 south of the river bridge after receiving a update of a single-motorcycle crash. Fabian was identified as the rider involved in the collision.
Following the crash, Fabian suffered critical injuries and was transported to Union Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite medical efforts, she passed away shortly after midnight on August 8, according to the Vigo County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner’s office reported that the location of injury was identified as the area of Highway 63 and U.S. 41. An autopsy was conducted on August 8 by forensic pathologist Dr. Dele Abedego.
Preliminary autopsy findings determined that Fabian’s cause of death was blunt force trauma. The Vigo County Coroner’s Office ruled the manner of loss as an accident.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding what caused the motorcycle crash or whether any other vehicles or individuals were involved. The Terre Haute Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
